How to Find Yourself When You Are Lost

There come days when you might not understand what you are doing with your life. I want to share with you that when creating a startup, this feeling surfaces quite frequently. Today, I am experiencing one of those days, and I have decided to jot down my thoughts about it. More importantly, I want to describe how I bring myself back, take action, and strive to achieve greatness once again.

As is my routine, I like to wake up as early as possible. I aim for 7 hours of sleep, so having gone to bed at 10:30 pm, I woke up at 5:30 am. After waking up and taking a shower, I realized that today is one of those days when I lack the passion to create something extraordinary. Nevertheless, I decided to start coding for the new PrimeFinder dashboard. By 11:00 am, I was done. I then decided to grab some coffee and take a walk to ponder the reason behind my lack of enthusiasm.

Usually, a loss of hope or passion for a project occurs when I conceive a new idea that seems more lucrative and easier to implement. With a thousand ideas crossing my mind daily, I realized that my dwindling interest in PrimeFinder was likely due to a new online course idea with significant earning potential.

In the past, it would take an entire day to regain focus. I used to jump from one idea to another, losing track of them all. However, I have since trained myself to concentrate on one idea and persist until there's a solid, mentor-approved reason to consider it a failure.

The best approach for me is to take the day off and relax. Instead of working tirelessly, I chose to play video games, chat with friends, watch Instagram reels, listen to podcasts, and generally keep things light. Now, at the end of the day, I am writing down all the thoughts and solutions that occurred to me.

As you read this blog, I am implementing these reflections. Now I understand why I was reluctant to work and why I am now even more motivated to work harder on PrimeFinder. I've realized why I detested the idea of not working and not striving to make a change, not just in my life but in the lives of others around the world.

I hope this letter helps you find yourself and inspires you to return to your work with renewed energy.

With love,
Siavash Delkhosh - CEO

Selling online courses doesn’t make you an entrepreneur

Okay, let's have a real talk for a moment. You've seen them on YouTube, right? Those so-called 'entrepreneurs' who are all about flashing their Lamborghinis and hanging out with hot girls. Some of them are just trying to sell you these get-rich-quick courses that, honestly, rarely ever work. But here's the thing, and it's something I feel strongly about: selling online courses? That doesn't automatically make you an entrepreneur. It makes you an online teacher. And there's a big difference between the two. Why do I think so? Well, let me break it down for you. 1. The Definition! Why don't we take a moment to see what the dictionary has to say about the word 'entrepreneur'? I'm curious to see how it lines up with what we've been seeing . "A person who sets up a business or businesses, taking on financial risks in the hope of profit" . Let's think about this for a second - where's the risk in all of this? Since when di...

Why We Are Lazy?

Introduction In the insightful book "The Chimp Paradox," Dr. Steve Peters offers a fascinating look into our minds' workings, unraveling the complexity of human emotions and behaviors. At the heart of this exploration lies a simple yet powerful model: the division of our mind into three main parts – the Chimp, the Human, and the Computer. This model provides a framework for understanding why we react in certain ways, including why we often find ourselves succumbing to laziness. Laziness, a common trait that can hinder our productivity and progress, is not just a matter of poor discipline or lack of motivation. According to Dr. Peters, it's deeply rooted in the psychological interplay between the different parts of our mind. This blog post delves into the reasons behind our lazy tendencies, guided by the insights from "The Chimp Paradox," and suggests ways to overcome them by better managing our inner Chimp. The Psychological Basis of Laziness The Chimp brai...
